Overview of Specialty Pharmacy Services
JPCHC pharmacy services are available to provide easier and more affordable access to biologics and specialty medications to treat specialty conditions. Your personal care team that includes provider specialists, experienced pharmacists and patient engagement specialists, work together for you to avoid any refill interruptions and find the lowest copay costs.
Your clinical pharmacist will help you with injection training, medication questions, and review your results to make sure your biologics are working as well as possible.

Pharmacy Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We can work with you to cover prescriptions with Medicaid, Medicare, a sliding fee self-pay scale, and other accommodations.
We have Community Resource Navigators who can help you apply for assistance programs and find ways to pay for your prescriptions. Talk to our pharmacy team about your needs and they will connect you to help.
Yes! The JPCHC Pharmacy will have basic discounted medical supplies available for purchase, such as bandages, Diabetic Supplies, sharps disposal containers, and more.

Yes! We work with partners who can provide specialty pharmacy prescriptions directly in the JPCHC pharmacy.
Your healthcare provider can call your prescription directly into our pharmacy for you to pick up. Simply tell them during your appointment that you want to make JPCHC Pharmacy your preferred place to fill a prescription!
It’s also easy to transfer a prescription from another pharmacy to JPCHC. Just call 317-236-6147 and we will coordinate the transfer.
You can also bring a written prescription into the pharmacy in person.
The pharmacy is at 5317 E. 16th Street in Indianapolis, across the street from Community Hospital East. Soon, you’ll also be able pick up your prescriptions from your local Jane Pauley Community Health Center location.

Medicaid patients can arrange transport through your insurance at least two days in advance of your appointment by calling 855-325-7586.
For Anthem HIP patients, see if options are included in your plan by calling: 844-772-6632.
For other patients, please visit your Practice Location webpage to see available public transportation options and ask us about a bus pass (if available) if you’re in need.
There is a bus stop for Route 3 of IndyGo right at the pharmacy address.
